Professor Mark Sculpher visited Singapore’s Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) in September 2026 to take part in discussions on health technology assessment and healthcare policy.
Established by Singapore’s Ministry of Health, ACE is Singapore’s national agency for health technology assessment (HTA) and clinical guidelines. Its work supports evidence-informed healthcare decision-making complemented by education.
Mark is a member of ACE’s International Advisory Panel (IAP), which brings together international experts to advise the agency on health technology assessment, clinical guideline development and education. The panel draws on international experience and best practices to support the continued development of ACE’s work.
During the visit, Mark joined fellow panel members to discuss a range of methods and policy topics, contributing to international knowledge exchange on approaches to evaluating health technologies and developing healthcare guidance.
