Building peace, improving health: an evening event with perspectives from Colombia

CHE researchers lead on an event for the ESRC Festival of Social Science

The event held on 6 November 2019 at the Merchant Adventurers' Hall in York, was a public engagement evening with interactive displays of research findings from the War & Peace project. This included short films, an interactive map of Colombia showing conflict events and health initiatives, and timeline of the conflict. There was also a panel discussion with War & Peace researchers and others including a British journalist, Colombian visual artist, and representative from the Ministry of Health. 

The event was organised with funds received from a York internal grant from the ESRC.
