Gender equality

CHE is committed to advancing gender equality in a traditionally male-dominated sector.

As part of this commitment, we hold an Athena SWAN Silver Award, recognising our good practice in recruiting, retaining, and supporting women’s careers and gender equality.

The Athena SWAN Charter is an initiative for recognising the advancement of gender equality in higher education and research in the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, medicine and maths) disciplines as well as in arts, humanities, social sciences, business and law.

We strive to ensure our processes are fair, flexible, transparent, and accessible, fostering an inclusive and positive workplace culture for all staff and students.
