BRC Haematology Theme Meeting: October 2025

Key partners from York and Leeds gathered to discuss recent progress, data, and results.

The NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Haematology Theme Meeting, held on 3rd October 2025 at the National STEM Learning Centre, brought together leading laboratory researchers, clinicians, epidemiologists, and data scientists to share progress and discuss emerging results. Topics covered included immunosenescence, inflammation, clonal haematopoiesis, imaging, and treatment. The programme, which included talks and posters by colleagues from institutions in Leeds and York, was opened by the BRC’s Director Professor Philip Conaghan who presented an   overview of the current and future BRC strategy. 

The event fostered collaboration among key partners and showcased cutting-edge work, highlighting the collective drive to advance haematological research through data, innovation, and shared insight.
