Nina returns to the NCEM for her final PhD recital to continue her focus on fantasy, form and freedom – this time letting the emotive solo violin fantasias of Nicola Matteis take centre stage. Culminating in fully improvised fantasias inspired by his works, this is a chance to hear baroque music as Matteis himself would have known.
