Students & Staff of the Department of Archaeology at the University of York are delighted to be hosting the Theoretical Archaeology Group meeting in York in 2025. York last hosted TAG in 2007, we are excited to welcome you back to our historic city.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Annelou van Gijn from the Laboratory for Material Culture Studies, Leiden University, Netherlands, will be the guest speaker for the Summer Lecture and official CAMA opening.

John Schofield’s new book, Wicked Problems for Archaeologists: Heritage as Transformative Practice, was published by Oxford University Press in May 2024.
