Event details

The Heritage for Global Challenges Research Centre (University of York) and the York City Screen Picturehouse are hosting a screening of the feature documentary film Six Inches of Soil, "the inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food--to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities."

The film will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Tanja Hoffmann of the HGCRC. Panel members include Anna Jackson, one of the film's stars; Claire Mackenzie, the film's producer; and Vincent Walsh a leading circular and regenerative food and agriculture expert in the UK. A small reception will follow the panel discussion for those wishing to carry on the discussion.
