Sustainability Week

From 4 to 8 March 2024, we hosted our tenth sustainability-themed week, formerly known as ‘One Planet Week’.
Over thirty free events were organised for staff, students and alumni to raise awareness about environmental and social issues. Events included the very first Anne Lister College Sustainability Fair, a Nature journalling workshop, Campus East and West biodiversity walks, a 45-minute Zumba class hosted by York Sport Village, and a Taste and Talk session with the Catering Team, just to name a few.
The week also provided an opportunity to engage the whole community with the University's ambitious sustainability goals, including talks about the Sustainability Plan and Green Impact.
