There has been a change of process within Careers and Placements regarding how we handle:
As of January 2020 we will no longer be hosting these types of opportunities or the organisations that offer them on our careers platforms unless they have completed the Centre for Global Programmes’ due diligence form and have been accepted as a third party provider.
Please note that an organisation only has to complete one due diligence form, and this will be reviewed annually. If you would like to attend the Global Opportunities or Summer Opportunities fair run by the Centre for Global Programmes, you will need to complete their form, please contact global-programmes@york.ac.uk for more details. Please note, you will not be able to post vacancies or events on Handshake, but you will be able to contact students who you engage with at virtual fairs and those who contact you directly.

Careers & Placements are moving to a list of providers for these types of opportunities, which will be published on our student facing webpages.
We have developed an International Opportunity Information Request document, which we will be asking organisations to complete if they wish to be considered. You can find a copy of this document below please feel free to submit this at any time by returning a completed copy to careers-employers@york.ac.uk.
Please be aware that incomplete Information Requests will not be considered. If there are sections that you do not feel are relevant to your organisation or your opportunities, please use this space to provide any additional information you feel is necessary.

We will be reviewing the documents twice per academic year, and will let you know whether your application has been successful or if we require further information to be able to display your completed form to students. If we do not require further information or clarification, a copy of your completed information request form will be made available to students and the name of your organisation, and a link to your website, will be added to our list.
