What's my fee status?

Home students are UK or EU students who have been ordinarily resident in the European Economic Area for the past three years.

Anyone not classed as a Home/EU student is an international student.

Fee statuses can be complicated - see this page for more information:

What are 'average annual fees'?

This is an average over all years of study.

The fee for a full year's study abroad or work placement is much lower than the fee for a full year's study at York, eg the average fee for a four-year programme  with a year abroad will be £7,088 (an average of three years at £9,000 and one year at £1,350).

Average fees are shown at the full rate without taking into account fee waivers or bursaries.
