What's my fee status?
Home students are UK or EU students who have been ordinarily resident in the European Economic Area for the past three years.
Anyone not classed as a Home/EU student is an international student.

This is an average over all years of study.
The fee for a full year's study abroad or work placement is much lower than the fee for a full year's study at York, eg the average fee for a four-year programme with a year abroad will be £7,088 (an average of three years at £9,000 and one year at £1,350).
Average fees are shown at the full rate without taking into account fee waivers or bursaries.
