The University has a number of links in North America (USA and Canada) which provide opportunities to spend a year at one of our partner institutions. This does not lengthen the overall period of your studies: the period abroad replaces the second year at York for students on three-year degree courses, or the third year for those on four-year courses.

The University of California

The University of California (UC) will make ten places available to York Undergraduate students in 2013/14.

Columbia University, New York

Columbia University will make one place available to a York Undergraduate student in 2013/14.

University of Denver

New for the academic year 2013/14! The University of Denver will make one place available to a York Undergraduate student in 2013/14.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) will make two places available to York Undergraduate students in 2013/14.

The University of Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania will be making one place available to a York Undergraduate student in 2013/14.

University of Rochester

Rutgers, State University of New Jersey will be making one place available to a York Undergradute student in 2013/14.

York University (Ontario, Canada)

York University, Ontario will make up to 3 places available to the University of York Undergraduate students in 2013/14.

University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus)

The University of British Columbia, Okanagan, will make up to 2 places available to York Undergraduate students in 2013/14.

We have exchange links with the University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore. These exchanges are open to undergraduate students in any department.

The University of Hong Kong will make up to four places available to York Undergraduate students in 2013/14.

 

National University of Singapore

The National University of Singapore will be making three places available to York Undergraduate students in 2013/14.

We have exchange links with the University of Sydney. This exchange is open to undergraduate students in any department.

The University of Sydney will be making four places available to York Undergraduate students in 2013/14.

South Africa

Rhodes University

Rhodes University will be making one place available to a York Arts and Humanities Undergraduate for the Spring semester 2014.

A number of York departments have set up exchange links for their students.  Students can only apply to these exchanges if they are student of the relevant department/college.

The University of British Columbia, Okanagan, will make 2 places available to Chemistry students in 2013/14.

Nanyang Technological University will be making three places available to Chemistry students in 2013/14.

The University of Sydney will be making two places available to Chemistry students in 2013/14.
