Postgraduate scholarships and funding

A range of scholarships and studentships are available for masters and research students. Some scholarships are funded by the University and some are funded by Research Councils, alumni, businesses and charities.

2015/16 entry

For students starting taught masters courses or research degrees between September 2015 and January 2016 the following scholarships are currently available.

International students

We offer a number of scholarships for international students each year, awarded on a competitive basis. These scholarships are only available to students who will be paying tuition fees at the overseas rate.

In addition to the masters and research scholarships listed above, some academic departments offer their own subject-based funding opportunities and scholarships.

 

York Graduate Loyalty Discount

York offers a discount in taught postgraduate masters tuition fees for all Home and EU alumni who have graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of York.
