Join a virtual exchange with Japanese students

Posted on 5 February 2021

Escape lockdown by applying to join a virtual exchange project with students from Japan!

As part of a short online course for students of Tohoku University, Japan, the Centre for Global Programmes is organising a mini intercultural exchange project in which students from Tohoku and York will work together getting to know each other’s culture and then present their findings.

Join the sessions to:

  • meet and work on a project with students from Japan
  • gain international experience while staying in York
  • learn about Japanese culture and reflect on your own

Altogether there will be three 60-minute sessions where you will work together. You may need some extra time to prepare for the final presentation. Here’s the schedule:

Session 1: Thursday 25 February 11am-12pm
Session 2: Monday 1 March 11am-12pm
Session 3: Thursday 4 March 11am-12pm
