Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Vessel

The lab has a 200mL supercritical CO2 reactor mounted in a temperature-controlled oven and fitted with a powerful pressure pump enabling rapid filling of the vessel to high pressures. It is also fitted with a solvent mixing valve for co-solvent media reactions or extractions. Accurate temperature control combined with a liquid mixing pump enable the fine-tuning of solvent properties to improve reaction and separation selectivity, allowing much greater control over reactions than is possible with conventional solvents.
