Research

My current research involves studying the factors involved in Public Confidence in policing and the effects on Policing performance at a local and national scale. I have a particular interest in the impact of location on people's attitudes to the police.

Title of Research Topic: The Role of Public Confidence in Police Performance Management

Supervisors: Dr. Kiran Fernandes and Dr. Ignazio Cabras

Profile

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Managment (BSc) from The York Management School in 2008.
After graduating, I formed my own consulting company before accepting a position within the North Yorkshire Police force, where I worked on a nine month project developing a suite of Service Level Agreements for the Force.

In September 2009 I started my PhD in Operations Management funded by a departmental teaching scholarship and a grant by the North Yorkshire Police. I am supervised by Dr Kiran Fernandes and Dr Ignazio Cabras, both of The York Management School.
