Title of research topic : “Financial behaviour and decision-making by participants in Save As You Earn employee share option plans”
Supervisors : Professor Andrew Pendleton (University of York) & Professor Andrew Robinson (University of Leeds)
I was recently awarded with an Economic Social Research Council scholarship via the White Rose consortium for research into the social, cognitive and emotional factors influencing the decisions made by employees participating in Save As You Earn share option schemes. The project is supported and in collaboration with the Yorkshire Building Society.
As an undergraduate I studied Accounting and Finance at Manchester Metropolitan University and subsequently I went onto pursue a Masters degree from the University of York. Prior to commencing my doctorate, I spent a year working within the British Council on a global education project.
