Gill's role within CRD includes undertaking and critiquing systematic reviews of health interventions. In addition to review work, she writes abstracts for DARE.

Gill has worked on numerous systematic reviews of therapeutic interventions for various clinical indications. She has a particular interest in systematic reviews in the area of oncology.

Recent projects have included single technology assessments of capecitabine for advanced gastric cancer, trastuzumab for HER2-positive advanced gastric cancer and fingolimod for relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis.
