Aileen is one of a small team of health economists working within CRD. Her role includes undertaking decision analytical modelling and Bayesian evidence synthesis to support both the NICE programme of work and independently funded research. In addition, Aileen has considerable experience in the critical appraisal/systematic review of economic evaluations.

Aileen has a BSc in Science with Management Studies (Napier University, Edinburgh) and an MSc in Operational Research (University of Strathclyde, Glasgow). Her experience to date has involved working on various health outcomes research and economic evaluation studies covering different disease areas and healthcare interventions within the NHS setting in the UK, and against a broader European context.

Aileen has an ongoing interest in the development and conduct of cost-effectiveness and cost-utility analyses requiring the design and application of a variety of different modelling approaches.
