Alexis’ role includes undertaking and critiquing systematic reviews of health interventions. In addition to review work, he writes critical abstracts for DARE.
Prior to joining CRD, he worked on various systematic reviews commissioned by NICE to develop guidance on the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS and TB.
Alexis also worked for several NGOs in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa, implementing HIV prevention interventions aimed at high-risk groups.
Alexis holds an MSc in Social Research Methods from the LSE and a BA in philosophy from the University of Paris Sorbonne.
He has an interest in systematic review methodology and the evaluation of interventions aimed at preventing and managing infectious diseases.Selected publications
