Kate is an Information Specialist within the Information Team at CRD. She designs and runs literature searches for reviews undertaken by CRD and other contracted organisations. Kate is involved in the production of DARE and the HTA database through running searches, screening results and indexing records. Kate teaches on the Introduction to Systematic Reviews course run by CRD.

Prior to becoming an Information Specialist, Kate worked for three years at CRD as The Cochrane Library Trainer, teaching at institutions across Britain, and abroad. Kate is a qualified librarian with a BA in English Literature and a PGDip in Information Studies.
