Mark's role involves conducting systematic reviews of health interventions, and writing and checking abstracts for DARE.

Mark joined CRD in 2008, and has worked on systematic reviews evaluating antivirals for influenza, photodynamic therapy, and physical therapies for osteoarthritis of the knee. Prior to joining CRD Mark worked for 10 years as a Trials Administrator at Oxford University’s Clinical Trial Service Unit, looking at the effectiveness of statins in patients at risk of heart attack or stroke.
