Jane has worked on numerous systematic reviews of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for various clinical indications. These have included: the use of neuraminidase inhibitors for the treatment of influenza; stapled haemorrhoidopexy for the treatment of haemorrhoids; the effect of withdrawal of clopidogrel in patients with ischaemic heart disease; and the use of faecal occult blood tests in population screening for colorectal cancer.
Jane has a particular interest in systematic reviews of diagnostic and prognostic tests.Current research projects
