People from diverse academic backgrounds, and from human rights organisations and other, related fields, are encouraged to apply. Applicants are expected to have a good first degree (2:1 or its equivalent) and/or relevant work experience.
For the MA we require a minimum overall IELTS of 6.5, 87 TOEFL iBT, Cambridge Proficiency A, B or C or GCSE/IGCSE A, B, C.

Fees for 2012/13 are:
Home and EU students: £4,620 (full-time); £2310 (part-time)
Overseas students: £12,720 (full-time); £6360 (part-time)
Students will need to budget for the field visit, over and above fees and living expenses for the MA (approximately £1250 to £1400).
The Centre offers one scholarship for an MA or LLM student in 2012/13. For details about other potential sources of funding, students should consult the University of York Graduate Study website.
