Year 4 of the MChem programme has a particular emphasis on research and is designed to reinforce and build-on the key chemical principles and practical skills you learn in Years 1-3.
You will learn some of the latest developments in chemical research by completing a substantial research project and develop a range of skills, such as communication, analysis and interpretation, oral and written presentation, problem-solving and critical assessment.

In each case the work you do is assessed, and carries 37.5% of the overall marks for the MChem degree.
