The book presents a contemporary reflection on ethical and sustainable consumption, and explores the challenges and complexities of living an ethical and sustainable life. It contains multidisciplinary research from authors with unique perspectives and expert insights covering topics such as sustainable solutions to improve responsible seafood consumption, modern slavery, edible insects and the future of planet-friendly proteins, the influence of austerity in normalising sustainable consumption, sustainability labelling in the food industry and the role of shared e-micromobility in sustainable transportation.

Commenting on the book and launch event, Professor Victoria Wells said:

“Edited collections are such an important way of bringing together a diverse range of viewpoints on a subject and can be so useful to bring new ideas together. It’s been fabulous working with my co-editors and while it’s been really hard work, I’m really proud of how the book has turned out.”
