International Women's Day: call for events
Help celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March by organising your own events.
The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is #InspireInclusion.
We're planning to host a series of events throughout the week of 4 to 8 March in celebration of the day - and we're encouraging members of the University to join in with these celebrations by raising awareness of what's happening, attending events, and organising their own.
Your events
Events can take any form including:
- Talks or presentations
- Panel discussions
- Film screenings
- Performance
- Awareness raising campaign
- Exhibition/stand
- Workshop
- Social media campaign
We can help
The Equality and Diversity Office can help you in a number of ways:
- Advice about the content and/or organisation of your event
- Assistance in promoting your event
- Inclusion on our EDI events calendar
