Resurfacing works will disrupt U1 bus route

The final phase of resurfacing work on Hull Road will begin at the Field Lane roundabout (adjacent to the Inner Space petrol station) on Thursday 16 October, set to be completed on the evening of Tuesday 21 October.

Unfortunately, there will be no access to the Field Lane roundabout during this final phase. Traffic will be diverted through Osbaldwick using the Osbaldwick Link Road.

From 8pm until 5am the U1 bus will not be able to serve York Sport Village on the following dates: Thursday 16, Friday 17, Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 October. The diversionary route for vehicles is untenable for the U1 to take. Service 6 will also terminate in Osbaldwick Village, and will not serve Tranby Avenue or University Campus East. 

If you are travelling during these times or using the York Sport Village please factor this into your travel time.
