Roadworks on Hull Road

Work on Hull Road from Monday 15 September through to 25 October may lead to traffic delays.
the City of York Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on Hull Road from Monday 15 September through to 25 October 2025. The work will be carried out in stages with lane closures throughout the day and overnight road closures.
We have been informed that these works will cause some traffic delays so please allow extra time for journeys to and from campus.
What you need to know:
- Other than the routes below, access to campus will not be affected.
- Bus routes will run as normal to and from York Sport Village and the Nursery, but buses may also experience some delays.
- Vehicle access to York Sport Village and the Nursery will still be possible from Hull Road, but please allow extra time for your journey as lane closures may be in place. Between 8pm and 6am, access will be managed at the Grimston Bar Park & Ride roundabout.
We strongly recommend planning your journey carefully and leaving extra time.
