Changes to the annual leave year

We're making an important change to how we manage annual leave to make the process simpler and more consistent for everyone.
Starting from 1 August 2026, all staff and PGRs will have a single annual leave cycle running from 1 August to 31 July.
This change is to reduce administrative burden, simplify leave management, and ensure a better, more consistent experience for all.
The amount of annual leave you are entitled to will not change as a result of the new arrangements.
To help us transition to a single annual leave year, the 2025/2026 cycle will be shortened to 1 October to 31 July or 1 January to 31 July, depending on your current arrangements.
