This was based on her PhD which looked at English pharmacists potential role in delivering geneticall-personalised medicine and the challenges that this poses.
Her poster suggested that a generational gap is emerging between younger pharmacists (where genetics is a key part of their university curriculum) and older pharmacists (who received very little genetics training). This generational gap, she argues, may lead to inconsistent care and a missed opportunity for pharmacists to broaden their practice.
She has also written a paper on this topic, which can be accessed for free here: http://pharmacyeducation.fip.org/2013/07/pharmacogenetics-and-pharmacy-education-in-the-uk-mind-the-generation-gap/
