Event details

YorCCA is organised by PhD researchers at the University of York and affiliated with the Centre for Advanced Studies in Language and Communication (CASLC). The conference aims to provide a welcoming environment for PhD researchers to present their work to fellow PhD researchers and established academics and to receive feedback and advice as they develop their projects. Our hope is that YorCCA will contribute to the academic and professional development of PhD researchers in CA.

The conference will include presentations from PhD researchers working in Conversation Analysis, as well as talks from our two invited speakers. For those attending in person, there will also be optional CA skills workshops led by Paul Drew and Lorenza Mondada on the following morning:Workshops: Saturday, 19th July, 9:00–12:00We look forward to welcoming members of the CA community to join us in York or online.
