Institute for Safe Autonomy Demo Day

Welcome ISA (Institute for Safe Autonomy), we are running this demo day so that our colleagues around the university can come visit the building to see what we are all about.

The focus on the day is practical demos that highlight the possibilities of autonomous systems. Feel free to pop down any time during the event and it is open to everyone at the university, not just those researching in our field. We will be using the atrium, downstairs labs, test spaces and depending on the weather the outdoors areas.

Date: Wednesday 25th of February

Time Table:

12:30 - Event opens

1:00pm - Demos Start

3:00pm - Demos End

3:30pm - Event closes

ISA can be found on Campus East next to the Piazza Building. Alternatively the campus map highlights the building or w3w has the information.
Further information about Demos and the event will be added shortly.
Any questions about the day please do contact isa-admin@york.ac.uk
John McDermid and Ana MacIntosh in ISA
We are delighted to invite University of York colleagues to visit the Institute for Safe Autonomy, to find out about our people, research, and facilities. We are opening our doors in the hope that many of you will join us to find out about ISA's strategy, see demonstrations of autonomous systems and robots in action, and make new connections. Safe AI, connected autonomous systems, and resilient robotic machines are regularly in the news and, at ISA, we work on some of the hardest and most interesting problems in this area.
Come and meet the research, technical, and operations teams that make it possible, be inspired to start a new collaboration, and tell everyone you know about what you see in ISA.
