European Physical Society PhD Research Award

Alexandra Dudkovskaia has been awarded the PhD Research Award of the Plasma Physics Division of the European Physical Society.

As part of this award Alexandra will give a presentation at the annual EPS Conference on Plasma Physics. Alexandra is now a postdoc at the York Plasma Institute, and graduated following a PhD with Prof Howard Wilson last year. Alexandra's research was on the theory of a tokamak plasma instability called the neoclassical tearing mode.
