We reflect the areas of learning set out in the current Early Years Foundation Stage, splitting the Nursery into areas designed for: creative and messy activities, literacy, numeracy, role playing and outside play.

Our sessions include nappies as required and morning and afternoon snacks for all children. Our Nursery unit morning sessions and full days include a two course freshly prepared lunch.

Eligibility

Our nursery is open to all, including University students, staff and members of the public. We're able to take children up to 5 years and 11 months, including children who have already started school and may need childcare during half-term and summer holidays.

  • We can take a maximum of thirty children between the ages of 2 and 5 years in our Nursery unit, with an average staff to child ratio of 1:6.
  • We can take nine children aged between 3 months and 2 years in our Baby unit, with an average staff to child ratio of 1:3.

Registration

Once your child's place is confirmed as eligible, you'll be asked to complete our waiting list form and your child will be placed on our waiting list until a place is available. Priority is given to existing members, their siblings, and then new children in date order.

We currently have a long waiting list for children under two years old, so register as soon as possible and get in touch with us to check your place on the waiting list. There's no charge to go onto the waiting list. When you're offered a place, you'll be invited to visit with your child.
