Digital versions of most exam papers back to 2004 are available to University of York members via York Digital Library (YODL).
They can be accessed via YorSearch.
Pre-2004 exam papers are held in the University Archive.

To search for exam papers enter a subject (eg History), year, module code or exam title, and click Search.
To filter the results, select Exam paper under resource types on the left hand side of the page. Click on the View it tab to open a link to the Digital Library, where you will be asked to log in.
New papers are added to the Digital Library on an ongoing basis.
Note: we do not hold all papers set. HYMS and Psychology do not provide copies of past exam papers. Health Sciences have only provided them since 2010.
You can also browse and search for exam papers from the Digital Library.
Non-secure past examination papers should be submitted through e:vision. The Library will then make them available via York Digital Library.

If you need to delete a past paper you have uploaded, for example, if it has been uploaded for the wrong module, please follow the instructions below.
No, you can choose which modules you upload a paper for.
Please ensure you only upload non-secure past examination papers to e:vision.
All past examination papers which are uploaded to e:vision should be in PDF format. Please follow the instructions below for creating or converting a document to PDF.
PDF Converter Enterprise can be downloaded from Run Advertised Programs in the Control Panel on supported PCs. Follow the instructions below for converting documents to PDF using this software.
The documents will then be converted to PDFs
