With Ash's experience in short fiction and playwriting, Ash will be running a workshop to encourage people in their creative writing journeys with exercises, prompts, and a chance to share your work and get some feedback from other writers.
About the speaker
Ash Haslett Cuff
Ash Haslett Cuff is originally from Toronto, but is currently pursuing her MA in 18th century studies at York. She completed a history BA (Hons) at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2024. She has written a play, White Man Complex, which debuted at Dandelion Theatre’s In Bloom Festival in 2021. She writes short fiction about prickly characters in awkward situations, personal essays about race, dating, literature, and whatever her current bugbear is. She welcomes readers to her Substack (Ashhaslettcuff).
