During his Fellowship, Eduardo worked on research emerging from the theme of the exhibition "Staging Injustice: Italian Art, 1870-1914", which investigated the different approaches of nineteenth-century Italian artists towards social issues of the day.  The exhibition ran throughout the first semester of 2022.  As a Fellow, Eduardo shadowed and assisted with the installation and de-installation of the exhibition.  Along with two other Fellows, Eduardo organized the annual spring Centre for Italian Modern Art (CIMA) Study Days – a program which takes place twice a year and brings together the Fellows and other scholars to share their research stemming from the exhibition currently on view.  He also lead public tours, private guided visits at CIMA for school groups and other interested parties, and he participated in the public and members’ programming during the run of the exhibition.  Eduardo is now working an essay inspired by the exhibition which will be included in the upcoming issue of the peer-reviewed journal published by the Center for Italian Modern Art.
