Richard McClary to speak at Islamic Arts Museum, Malaysia.

Richard will be visiting the Islamic Arts Museum on Thursday 11th July.

His lecture addresses the development of Persian miniature painting through the prism of polychrome over glaze ceramics from Iran. The lecture concludes with an overview of the process by which mina’i wares became known in the early twentieth century, which saw them become almost ubiquitous in exhibitions and publications by the middle of the twentieth century.
