Founded in 2006 and based at the University of Girona, the Institut Català de Recerca en Patrimoni Cultural leads in the conduct, facilitation and communication of research into the cultural heritage of Catalonia. In 2014 it published the MA dissertation of York alumna Anna Santolaria Tura in parallel English and Catalan translation, a project conducted and supervised in York as part of the department's MA in Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management. Anna has since been awarded a prestigious Richard H. Driehaus Prize in the Building Arts.
