Four more MA scholarships announced for 2015-16

Posted on 23 February 2015

The department is delighted to announce a number of scholarships for 2015-16 entrants to the MA in History of Art and associated pathway degrees.

In addition to the two White Rose College of Arts and Humanities (WRoCAH) MA scholarships announced last month, the department is pleased to confirm that it is match-funding the fee-waiver scholarship it has been allocated through the WRoCAH scheme. There will therefore be a total of three WRoCAH scholarships available (one fully funded and two fee-waiver scholarships at the UK/EU fee rate), on a competitive basis, to applicants for the MA in History of Art and associated pathway degrees.

Thanks to generous donations from alumni, the University is able to offer two Bridge Scholarships in History of Art: an Ede & Ravenscroft Bridge Scholarship for a York graduate, and a Jiangning Foundation Bridge Scholarship for a Chinese applicant. Both awards will provide the successful applicants with a £5,000 stipend.

The department is also pleased to offer, on a competitive basis, a substantial scholarship in the form of a 75% partial fee waiver to a full-time overseas applicant to the MA in History of Art and associated pathway degrees.

Further information about these opportunities, including information on how to apply, can be found on our postgraduate funding webpages.
