Emanuele Lugli is Awarded Research Grant

Emanuele has been awarded a British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grant to fund the first part of his project 'The Intellectual History of Connoisseurship'.

Emanuele's project details the cultural relationship of medicine and art history across Europe in the period from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. The grant will enable him to travel to several institutions throughout Europe to meet with experts in the history of medicine, the history of ideas, and the history of cultural transmission. Thanks to this generous grant,
Dr. Lugli will also organise an international workshop on the subject that will take place in York during Summer 2016.
