An Impressive Performance at the Dragon Boat Race Challenge 2013!

The Department was thrilled and proud to support Michele Vescovi as he competed in this year's Dragon Boat Race Challenge which took place on one of the hottest days of the year.

The competition saw 36 local teams compete in a series of 28 races between the Scarborough and Lendal bridges of the River Ouse.  The event was organised by the Rotary Club of York with the aim of raising funds for Cancer Research UK and Help for Heroes, while having a lot of fun in the process!  In some very stiff competition, Michele's team came a respectable 28th, aided by Michele's experience of being a member of the Italian national team!
