Professor Liz Prettejohn Shortlisted for 2012 John D Criticos Prize

Liz Prettejohn's publication 'The Modernity of Ancient Sculpture: Greek Sculpture and Modern Art from Winckelmann to Picasso' has been chosen from nearly 140 international publications to join the shortlist for the prestigious John D Criticos Prize.

Many congratulations to Liz, on this recognition of her important new publication. The prize was founded in 1996 to promote Anglo-Hellenic cultural exchange and is awarded to the author of an original work, which has been written in or translated into English, and is inspired by Greece, its culture or history.
