This interdisciplinary conference will examine urban society and life across the Medieval period c.600-1500.
Keynote lectures will be presented by Zoë Opačić (History of Art, Birkbeck) and Richard Goddard (History, University of Nottingham). Other speakers include Dave Postles (University of Hertfordshire), Ben Pope (Durham University), Jacopo Turchetto (University of Padova), Jana Gajdošová (Birkbeck, University of London), Claire Bourguignon (University of Burgundy), Daniel Gerrard (University of Oxford).
