Central HEaRt CIC - Trauma-Informed Support for Women

Central HEaRt CIC is a social enterprise dedicated to supporting women to heal, rebuild, and thrive. Founded by Patsy and Zola, we combine lived experience with over 20 years of professional expertise to deliver specialist, trauma-informed services.

We work with women affected by trauma, addiction, homelessness, the criminal justice system, and other forms of disadvantage or marginalisation. Our approach is holistic, creating safe and empowering environments that restore dignity, build confidence, and open pathways to future opportunities.

Living Potential Care Farming

Living Potential is a not-for-profit Care Farm near Wetherby, providing meaningful nature-based work since 2016 for adults with Adult Social Care day provision needs. (learning/physical disabilities, mental health challenges and neurodiversity)

We also provide weekend activities for children with neurodiversity through our Calm @ the Farm provision, and have a Community Garden space, consisting of a former Victorian Walled Garden space and lower field, where we support adults with mental health challenges, Young Onset Dementia, probation services (amongst many other community groups) and have just received funding to run a National Lottery Heritage Fund heritage learning project.

We have a rentable woodland cabin (a peaceful, rural venue designed for wellbeing retreats and away days) and welcome new volunteers across our provisions, corporate groups and support to raise awareness and fundraise for our amazing organisation.

Mindful Photography UK® - slow down and take notice: wellbeing workshops through photography

Mindful Photography UK® CIC offers creative wellbeing workshops that utilise photography, often in natural settings, to help employees slow down, de-stress, and reconnect. Our evidence-based, trauma-informed sessions are ideal for businesses looking to support staff mental health, resilience, and team cohesion.

Your facilitator, Rebecca Rowan, has many years of experience delivering tailored workshops within local communities and organisations. She holds a unique postgraduate qualification and distinction in therapeutic photography and is a trained tutor, coach, and mindfulness facilitator through PhotoVoice and Mindfulness Now.

  • Wellbeing Workshops – Gentle, guided mindful photography workshops or walks that promote mindfulness, reduce anxiety, and improve focus.

Taking Baby Steps - specialist perinatal and reproductive mental health support for workplaces

Taking Baby Steps CIC offers tailored emotional wellbeing support for employees experiencing fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, or perinatal anxiety. Led by former NHS midwife Jane Bamford, our service combines expert clinical knowledge with lived experience to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care.

The Jordan Legacy – suicide prevention, mental health awareness and support for workplaces education centres and communities

The Jordan Legacy CIC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to reducing suicide by improving mental health awareness and creating lasting change in workplaces, schools, and communities. Founded in memory of the Founder's son, Jordan Phillip, from Leeds, who took his own life in December 2019, our mission is shaped by lived experience and the research which supports a belief that most suicides are preventable.

The Jordan Legacy is also an Innovation Partner with The Royal Foundation for Prince and Princess of Wales. 

We help schools, workplaces and all organisations take meaningful action before people reach crisis point.

  • We deliver inspirational, lived experience talks to spark real understanding and action, providing your people with the confidence to support someone, compassionately, who is having suicidal thoughts, whilst reducing the stigma surrounding this topic
  • We partner with organisations, from police forces, law firms, manufacturing companies and a range of different organisations, as well as schools, colleges and universities, to help develop and embed wellbeing, mental health and suicide prevention and postvention strategies and policies
  • Our aim is create a Zero Suicide Society, which by our definition is one that is willing and able to do all it can to prevent all preventable suicides
