Creativity Lab open for business!

The Screen Industries Growth Network (SIGN) recently teamed up with the University of York Library to establish an exciting hub for digital creativity and emerging technologies in the creative industries.

The Creativity Lab welcomes businesses, partner HEIs and York staff and students with an interest in digital creativity by offering events and training sessions including introductory workshops that provide opportunities to learn practical skills by getting to grips with new technology. The lab features high-end gaming workstations, with access to VR equipment and headphones. Our workstations are equipped with a range of creative editing software and access to game engines such as Unreal. A wide selection of equipment is also available that allows you to explore everything from Augmented Reality and 3D design to podcasting and much more.
