Information for Mature Students

Goodricke College welcomes mature students (the usual definition of mature being undergraduates who are over 21 years old when they start their course). We are aware that those who are a little older than the typical undergraduate may have particular wants and needs.

Common Rooms

The Goodricke Nucleus has two large common rooms: The Junior Common Room and the quieter Clarbour Room, both offer a range of facilities which mature students can enjoy.  There are two networked PC stations in the Clarbour Room for those who want a quiet study space to work or check emails between classes.

The College runs events which are aimed at all our students,  however we also run events specifically aimed at mature students, which helps facilitates peer-to-peer support.  If you would like to comment on our events programme, or offer suggestions please email the Goodricke Administrator,

Mature Students Association

The University's MSA has a Facebook page you may wish to join to keep up-to-date with activities and information specifically for you.
