The University of York has over 1000 academic staff. To enable easy access to this knowledge Research and Business Development Managers are available to asseess your needs and to find the appropriate expertise. 

Research Development Managers (RDMs) work with external organisations and academic departments to enable the development of new ideas and knowledge creation by applying for research funding. 

Business Development Managers (BDMs) represent the first port of call for an organisation seeking engagement with the University on a commercial basis. BDMs can enable access to licensing opportunities for IP, fee for service provision and transfer of technology out of the University.
