Andrea Lluch

Andrea Lluch is a Researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research of Argentina (CONICET) Associate Professor at the School of Management, University of Los Andes - Colombia; and member of the History, Business and Entrepreneurship Research Group (GHE). Professor at National University of La Pampa in Argentina. Non-resident researcher at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University; and is associated with the Creating Emerging Markets Project of Harvard Business School. She received her PhD from the Universidad Nacional del Centro de Buenos Aires and was formerly a Harvard-Newcomen Fellow in Business History and subsequently a Research Fellow at Harvard Business School. She is also a member of the Latin America Initiative at the BHC and former trustee. She has received grants for her research from The Fulbright Commission; The National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET), The National Agency for Scientific and Technological Promotion (Argentina), The Latin American Studies Association, Harvard Business School, among other institutions. She is co-founder of the Red de Estudios de Historia de Empresas / Business History Research Network; co-created the database “Foreign Companies in Argentina Database FCAD–PICT 2010/0501”.  Andrea Lluch has published widely on the business history of Latin America, in particular on the history of direct foreign investment, family business and corporate networks during the twentieth century.
