University Radio York 55th Anniversary

To celebrate University Radio York’s 55th anniversary this year, URY are inviting alumni back over the weekend of the 24th and 25th June. Their celebrations will coincide with switching off their AM transmitter for the final time, now that they have their new FM transmitter.

The weekend will consist of a walk around campus on Saturday 24th June and then dinner in the city centre from 7pm.

On Sunday 25th June, they will be doing a live outdoor broadcast from 10am-4pm, where they are inviting alumni to take to the airwaves and present a mini show of of 13 minutes and 50 seconds.
